How can one speak of such foul language in front of minors? How can one openly discuss the term "bastard" and encourage the use of it? How can one ask of students to open up and tell of dirty jokes and crude language? How can one teach the same thing one taught yesterday? How can one discuss Maggie Cheung and Zhang Ziyi for fifteen minutes in ones social studies lesson? More importantly, how can one keep demanding answers with " Do you know why....." questions and then follow on to answer it herself, with " I dont know too."

Let Mdm * be Two.
Two is an english and civics moral education teacher. Yet she spells intellect as inteRlect. And she needs a double correction from a student to spell it correctly. Two gets furious when student A calls me a racist for my preference of partnering student B instead of student C. Not for me, because I knew what he meant was not the real meaning of what Racist is defined as. Two gets angry, because she (indian) thought that the comment was directed at her. Two claims that racist is a very sensitive term and that it should not be used anyway, and blabberblabberyadayada. And halfway through her lesson, she was cheesed off by an unknown matter, and guess what Two said. Two commented, " How come all the students from this stream are like that? So..." And I question inside, " What the fuck is that coming out of someone who just said Racist is too sensitive a term to be used in todays society, and go on with such a racist comment?!" Yes there isnt a mention of the term racist in her sentence, but it carried a meaning for more racist than that of student A said of. Two understands the literal meaning of Racist, yet only to the most superficial content.

Is this the education Singapore is hoping to provide on to students? To the future of Singapore and their government. Should disappointment be the word for me? Or shall "Too high an expectation" be the answer to it?

Why are there such pernickety people who make claims of their own and look down on others? What has this world come to? Is the constant developing of countries and the competitiveness between society getting to everyone?

Get back to the basics.
