I see two english newspapers at the stands. I pick The New Paper over the Strait Times. For what? For, The New Paper is much easier to handle, you flip the pages easily, and that for the Strait Times, you have to sort out the different sections pretty much before you get to your information. The New Paper, is often taken for it Sports section at the back which may take about twenty pages at times. Compared to the Strait Times mere full pages, audiences who do not read the Sports sections of these two newspapers would think that The New Paper shows more depth.

I would say not. See the bolded I? My opinion, ONLY. ( in case, lah.)

The New Paper Sports section provides biased reports and verdicts on players from their columnists and so called football guru analyst Mister Tohar* Pa*jan, W*ng Me*g2, and E*nest Lui*. Okay, you see, ah, the football analyst T*hari Pa*ijan, hor, was a former S-League club coach, now not already. Why? Cause that football club, is often the bottom of the table, and is the Sunderland of Singapore. They never do well at all, they dont score, they cant defend, they just lose matches whole day. And their pathetic years were done by this football analyst, who only provides mediocre comments which any hardcore football fans would know and gei-kiang opinions. That's one.

He does this "Major Players; The Verdict" section with Ern**t Lu**. There, they calls footballers names, comments about them, emphasises on their poor than their good, and give low ratings. If you are so good, why not you take their places? Do you even realise, that the monthly fitness tests S-League players do and are fined if they do not meet the required standard, is only about 3 quarters of the fitness tests these players you criticise have to do?
You put the tag "Replace Rio" on Rio Ferdinand, you so pro, you go do, lah. You go replace him, and I'll bet, that in the World Cup, even against Poland, you'd give up one quarter in a race with Jerzy Dudek, and you'll have your untoned body slouched against some wall, heh heh chuan-ing. Replace, Sell, Buy, that's all you all say. Then why not you do it?

W**g Men*2. He does a week report card for both the players, the team of the week, and the clubs. Some things to note about. For "The Big Flop" Sections, you only spot big clubs there, Manchester United, Liverpool, Asernal, when they fail to win and manage and draw, and sometimes, lose. For "Top Player", you either see, John Terry, Steven Gerrard, Wayne Rooney, or Theirry Henry. If always revolves around these players in big clubs. Okay, add in Joe Cole. Goalkeepers would never find their names in there, even a top notch save from Fulham's Niemi, top performances from Van Der Sar or Lehman, and add Shay Given. They get NOTHING in this part. The "Top Performance" part, he only covers the match when a big club has to win for something, in this case, Tottenham's win over Bolton for fourth spot in the table. But HALLOW, even a blind man would know that Bolton did NOT deserve that loss, Tottenham were struggling just to keep the score at nil-nil before halftime, and it was a sudden breakthrough in the second half that saw Tottenham take the lead, after that, they were just defending, defending, defending, clearing the balls. NO ATTACK. And it's the Top Performance. Okay okay, it's justified; Bolton played 80 minutes of attractive football, Tottenham played 10 minutes of fantabulous football. And Tottenham won, thats why its the Top Performance. I get it already.

And the "Team Of The Week" thing, you only see players who SUDDENLY do well in a particular match's name, you dont see consistent players with superb performances in it, unless they are from Chelsea or they go by the name Theirry Henry.

And you have a few sports columnists doing the same match review and report, as in, for the same match. Come on, just do what the Strait Times do. Do a professional report, cash in your personal opinions in the bank or diary, and let us know. We dont care which team you support.

I hate masquerades. I think that life is cruel and want to change it. But to do that, I would have to firstly change my life. Hmmm. Enjoys sports and physical activities, but am going through a bad patch after a horrible injury.

Im bored stiff at the moment. Ha
